GRILL TIPS FOR MEATS

Friday, March 25, 2011

If you can hold your hand over the grill for more than five seconds, it is not hot enough for your meats.

Seal the meat by quickly turning it over once it's on the grill - this will ensure the juices don't seep out while it's being cooked.

Rest the meat for a few minutes after grilling, as that ensures the juices stay in the meat once it is cut.

Clean the grill thoroughly before and after every barbecue.

"If you can hold your hand over the grill for more than five seconds, it is not hot enough for your meats." - is there another way to test? This seems dangerous and painful.
